Terms of use.

1. Provider and acceptance

Workout Dice and this website are provided by ROOT PILATES LTD (“we”, “us” or “our”), registered in England and Wales under company number 17165941, with registered office at 59 Bamford Road, Bromley, England, BR1 5QP.

By downloading, installing or using Workout Dice, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. Website visitors must also use this site in accordance with these terms and applicable law.

2. Intended audience

Workout Dice is intended for adults aged 18 and over. It is not designed primarily for children. If you are responsible for another person’s use of the app, you are responsible for assessing whether that use is appropriate and supervised.

3. Licence to use the app

Subject to these terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable and revocable licence to install and use Workout Dice on compatible devices for your own non-commercial purposes.

You must not:

• copy, redistribute, sell, rent, sublicense or commercially exploit the app or its content except where law expressly permits;
• attempt to defeat security measures or use the app unlawfully;
• misrepresent the app, its exercise guidance or your relationship with ROOT PILATES LTD; or
• remove or obscure copyright, trade mark or ownership notices.

Nothing in these terms prevents acts that cannot lawfully be restricted, including rights to decompile for interoperability where applicable law expressly allows it.

4. Using Workout Dice

Workout Dice suggests general fitness exercises based on choices such as level, equipment, target area, duration and impact preferences. Generated results are automated suggestions. You remain responsible for deciding whether each movement, duration, repetition, load and rest period is appropriate for you and your environment.

Filters reduce the exercise catalogue based on selected criteria, but they do not assess injury, pregnancy, disability, health condition, technique, available space or equipment condition.

5. No medical advice

The app and website do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation or emergency services. They do not estimate calories or guarantee health, fitness or performance outcomes. Exercise descriptions and form tips are general guidance and are not a personalised training programme.

Consult a qualified healthcare or fitness professional when appropriate, especially if you are pregnant, recently postpartum, injured, recovering from surgery or managing a health condition. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services.

6. Exercise safety and assumption of risk

Physical exercise involves inherent risks, including discomfort, falls and injury. Exercise within your ability, use appropriate technique and equipment, check your surroundings and warm up where appropriate. Stop immediately if you experience pain, dizziness or unusual discomfort.

Use low-impact mode, avoid-jumping settings, a lower level, less equipment, shorter work intervals or longer rest when appropriate. Read our separate Exercise Safety page.

7. Local data and device responsibility

Preferences, routines, favourites, workout history, feedback and reminder settings are stored locally on your device. We do not hold a server copy and cannot restore that information if it is deleted, the app is uninstalled or the device is lost or damaged. You are responsible for your device access and security.

8. Reminders and notifications

Workout reminders are optional. Delivery timing can be affected by device settings, permissions, battery management, system updates or other factors beyond our control. Reminders are convenience features and must not be relied on for medical, safety-critical or time-critical purposes.

9. Intellectual property

The app, website, design, text, exercise catalogue, graphics, software, Workout Dice name and associated materials are owned by or licensed to ROOT PILATES LTD and are protected by intellectual property laws. These terms do not transfer ownership to you.

You retain responsibility for routine names or other content you create locally in the app. That content is not transmitted to us.

10. Availability and changes

We may update, correct, suspend or discontinue features where reasonably necessary. Device compatibility and availability may change. We do not promise that the app or website will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Workout Dice and the website are provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not give warranties that generated workouts will meet every individual need, that content will be free of errors, or that use will achieve a particular result.

Nothing in these terms excludes warranties, consumer rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.

12. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

Subject to that, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost data, lost opportunity or loss arising from using an exercise contrary to safety guidance, continuing despite warning symptoms, unsuitable equipment or an unsafe environment.

If you are a consumer, these terms do not affect your mandatory statutory rights.

13. Third-party services and links

The app does not use third-party accounts, ads or analytics. The website may contain links that open email, phone, an app store or another service. Third-party services operate under their own terms and privacy practices, and we are not responsible for their content or availability.

14. Ending use

You may stop using Workout Dice and uninstall it at any time. Your licence ends automatically if you materially breach these terms. Provisions intended to continue—such as intellectual property, disclaimers and liability limitations—survive termination where applicable.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you may also have mandatory rights under the law of your country of residence and may be entitled to bring proceedings in your local courts. Nothing here removes those rights.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms to reflect product, legal or operational changes. The effective date will be revised. Your continued use after an update takes effect means the updated terms apply, subject to applicable consumer law.
