Plain-language summary: the Workout Dice app does not collect or transmit personal data. Data needed for its features stays in private storage on your device. The website code uses no cookies, analytics or form submissions.
1. Who provides Workout Dice
Workout Dice is provided by ROOT PILATES LTD (“we”, “us” or “our”), a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17165941. Our registered office is 59 Bamford Road, Bromley, England, BR1 5QP.
2. App data collection and sharing
The Workout Dice Android application does not collect, transmit, sell or share personal information, health data, device identifiers, usage analytics or advertising data. The app has no accounts, analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs or network access.
3. Data stored on your device
The app stores the following information locally so its features work:
- workout preferences, available equipment and accessibility choices;
- custom routines and favourite exercises;
- completed workout history, session feedback and progress statistics; and
- optional reminder settings.
This information remains in the app’s private storage. Android cloud backup and device-to-device transfer are disabled for Workout Dice data.
4. App permissions
Workout Dice uses vibration permission for optional haptic workout cues. On supported Android versions, notification permission is requested only after you choose to enable optional workout reminders. You may disable notifications, reminders, sound and haptics at any time.
Android’s local job scheduler may observe device restart, wake and connectivity state to keep scheduled reminder work reliable. Workout Dice does not have Internet permission and does not transmit this information.
5. This website
The website files do not use analytics, advertising trackers, account systems, contact forms, cookies or browser storage. When the website is hosted, the hosting and network providers may process basic technical information such as IP address, date, time and requested file to deliver and secure the service. Their handling of that information is governed by the provider selected for publication and should be reviewed when the site is deployed.
Selecting an email or phone link opens your device’s email or phone application. The website does not receive the content of those communications.
6. Information you send us
If you contact us directly, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your email address, phone number, message and any relevant support details. We use it to respond, investigate the enquiry, maintain necessary correspondence and protect our legal interests.
Please do not send medical records or sensitive health information. We keep correspondence only as long as reasonably necessary for the enquiry and applicable legal or administrative requirements.
7. App retention and deletion
Locally stored information remains until you change it, reset progress, clear the app’s storage or uninstall the app. The Reset progress action deletes workout history and derived progress statistics while retaining custom routines and favourites. Clearing app storage or uninstalling Workout Dice deletes all information stored by the app.
Because we do not receive or hold the app’s local data, we cannot view, recover or delete it remotely.
8. Children’s privacy
Workout Dice is intended for a general adult fitness audience and is not directed to children. The app does not knowingly collect information from children or any other app users.
9. Health information
Workout Dice provides general exercise guidance only. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment and does not access Health Connect or other health-data services.
10. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding personal information we hold from direct correspondence, including access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection. Because app data never reaches us, these rights cannot be exercised against us for information stored only on your device; use the on-device controls described above instead.
To ask about personal information contained in direct communications, email contact@rootpilates.website. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy if the app, website or our data practices change. The effective date will be updated when material changes are made.
